Xeno Medical Ltd in 2013 provides consultancy services in the field of medical devices and biomaterials. It was formed in 2002 and is now based in Exeter, Devon in the South West of the United Kingdom.
The CEO and founder, Professor Christina Doyle, is a qualified materials engineer and legal expert. After her 10 years at London University, Queen Mary College, she joined the private sector as Director and then Vice President for international corporations such as Stryker and BTG plc. She has continued to maintain her academic links working with the University of Leeds Centre of Excellence in Medical Engineering and Visiting Professor at the University of Exeter School of Engineering and the University of Surrey Materials Institute.
Christina has been instrumental in development planning, technology transfer projects and advising on routes to market for many new medical device products. Her Board non-executive directorial roles have been with growth-phase businesses such as Orthos Ltd, BoneSupport SE and Tissue Regenix Ltd.
Christina has MBA, PhD, MSc, and BSc qualifications and is a Chartered Engineer. She maintains an interest in UK science policy and funding, sitting on the UK EPSRC strategic User Panel (2001-6).
Andy Murray Xeno Medical's Administrator, Company Secretary and Financial Controller is responsible for all financial and administrative matters.
